We are currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will supervise a team of electrical engineers, ensuring that work is completed within the agreed time frame and inspecting work to make sure it is executed to a high standard.
The job for Electrical Supervisor includes:
- Supervision of a team of electrical engineers
- On-the-job supervision visits to engineers
- Delivering toolbox talks
- Carrying out electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance works as required
- Ensuring safe working procedures in accordance with current health and safety regulations and all other relevant regulations
- Post inspections of work carried out by engineers
- Reviewing and signing off certification completed by engineers
- Training and developing engineers
- Preparing work specifications
- Preparing quotations
- Interpreting electrical/site drawings when necessary
- Communicating with clients, residents, and colleagues when required
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Adhering to any company policy
- Undertaking any training provided by the company
- Supporting any business change for the benefit of the company
- Any ad-hoc duties as reasonably instructed by your line manager or directors
The ideal Electrical Supervisor will:
- Have previous experience in a supervisory role
- Have strong leadership skills
- Have previous experience in the electrical industry
- Have good timekeeping skills with the ability to work well in a team
- Have full electrical qualifications
- Have a full UK driving licence
