Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to lead complex commercial tenders and play a key role in shaping the organisation's growth strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership of the estimating process—from initial enquiry through to final submission—while influencing bid direction, risk management, and tender quality.
The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, project teams, and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, competitive, and commercially sound proposals across a range of sectors including retail, industrial, commercial fit‑out, rail, and highways.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed electrical estimates for projects typically valued between £50k and £5m
- Analyse tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities
- Build cost models covering labour, materials, plant, preliminaries, and specialist subcontract elements
- Prepare Bills of Quantities from first principles, including Design
