DiTech Science are partnered with an independent, world-leading Life Sciences manufacturer. They promote a portfolio of Microplate Readers based on Fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance to researchers in academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. The instruments are used either alone or in conjunction with automated pipetting stations for cell based assays in research and in drug discovery.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an additional Sales Product Specialist for their North West and M62 territory. The territory is already performing strongly and they wish to ensure they capture the full potential of sales opportunities in the region.
Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of the sales to an assigned target for the region.
  • Development and implementation of a territory plan to increase account penetration and market share.
  • Working in conjunction with your Applications Specialist and Field Service Engineer for support and lead sharing.
  • Making regular customer site visits to expand territory potential.
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and potential customers and collaborators across a range of organisations.
  • Maintaining good CRM reporting and pipeline records.
  • Providing the Sales Development Manager with timely reports and information.

Key Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence required. Ability to drive is essential as it involves frequent travel to various locations for client and other business-related activities
  • Valid UK passport or the right to work in the UK without a work visa

  • Eligibility for generous, uncapped sales-based commission scheme which is paid quarterly.
  • Annual bonus after qualifying period aligned to organisational performance.
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days with an addition 3 days for Christmas shut down (total: 28 days) plus bank holidays.
