As we continue to grow, the need has arisen for another Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be working closely alongside the other Graphic Designer and the Graphic Design Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Ideation: Assist the Graphics Lead and Head of Brand with designs for projects based on their creative direction, adjusting as needed based on feedback and advice. This includes general branding, sales and promotions, web assets, CRMs, social graphics, packaging, paid ads, illustrating, and in-house communications.
- Involvement and Motivation: Openly communicate with senior team members on projects and concepts for the brand. Research and gather inspiration for the visual identity of the brand as well as for individual projects. Seek opportunities within given projects and within the team to advance individual projects and the overall brand. Participate in weekly meetings and reviews of work.
- Execution: Assist the Graphics Lead with all aspects of the various creative projects for the Disturbia brand. This includes file preparation and resizing, creating mock-ups, setting up presentations, gathering supplies, and researching suppliers. Assist in department maintenance and upkeep of file organisation and company-wide graphics updates. Collaborate with social and e-commerce teams for branding campaigns, promotional messages, and graphics initiatives.
- Must be able to multitask with an awareness for timing and urgency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and follow creative direction.
- Ability to recognise and respond to current design, fashion, and cultural trends.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- E-Commerce experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of MAC based design software, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, etc.
- Basic video editing.
- Experience with UX/UI design for e-commerce platforms is beneficial but not mandatory.
This is not an entry-level role. You will need 2+ years experience in a similar role.
