Overview
As Disturbia continues to grow, the need has arisen to hire a Garment Tech to join our Tech team. This role is ideally suited to a Fashion Graduate or a person with a strong interest in the fashion sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Technical team.
- Inspecting and measuring and steaming samples prior to fit meetings, logging measurements on server.
- Logging samples on the server. Preparing fit rail ahead of fit sessions organising in line with the critical path deadlines.
- Preparing and sharing garment fit lists with Design and Buying teams.
- Present for all fit sessions, taking Garment Technicians fit notes.
- Logging fit photos into system after fit session.
- Support Garment Technician with approving care labels.
- Booking fit model for weekly fit sessions.
- Updating fibre composition attributes for the website.
- Attend weekly Critical Path with the Buying team to ensure all product is maintaining the deadline.
- Reporting findings to the wider team
- General tidying and upkeep of the department
- Support QC with logging Production fit images on the server.
- Support QC with scanning and packing stock to be sent to the warehouse.

Required Skills
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills.
- Microsoft Office and general IT skills
- Demonstrate an entry level understanding of pattern cutting, construction and manufacturing techniques.
- Applicants will need Math\βs and English Language at minimum grade 4/C to GCSE level.
