As Disturbia continues to grow, the need has arisen to hire a Buying Admin Assistant to join our Buying Team. This is a supportive role to the buying team, directly supporting the wider buying team and partnering with our existing BAAs. This is a great entry level position for anyone interested in entering the buying industry in a fast growing fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and amending Purchase Orders (POs).
- Create PO overviews to share with the wider business.
- Sample Management – ensuring all samples are organised for fits, sign off meetings, rack ups and photo shoot campaigns.
- Critical path management, working with the Tech team and supporting the buying team.
- Ensure key dates are met, chasing up any issues with suppliers and making the buying team aware of any potential delays.
- Ensure fit samples are received in line with the critical path and fitted on time.
- Manage library of lab dips and strike offs.
- Ensure key information entered on Centric for visibility across the teams.
- Working daily with overseas suppliers and building strong trustworthy relationships.
- Assist with preparing product for sign off meetings.
- Ensuring smooth running of the department, and assisting buying team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Market Analysis support - undertaking weekly comparative shopping/bench-marking reports.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree in fashion or past internship experience in a fashion environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the fashion industry.
- Data analysis skills including excel.
- Presentation skills.
- Strong, clear, and competent communication skills internally and externally to suppliers.
- High level of competency with reporting platforms and spreadsheets.
- Understanding of critical path and how to react to situations.
- Confidence, self-motivation, and tenacity are essential.
- Organisational skills are a must as you will juggle a workload with multiple different tasks.

- Good time management skills.
