You'll be working for a busy and expanding garden maintenance and landscaping company, carrying out domestic and commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping projects. We are based in Newport and cover the surrounding areas of Usk, Raglan, Abergavenny, Cardiff, Caldicot, and Chepstow; therefore, you'll need a clean driving licence.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plantings through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering.
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to carry out planting and maintenance activities efficiently.
- Use power tools like hedge trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and lawn equipment safely and effectively.
- Implement irrigation systems maintenance including inspecting for leaks or clogs and adjusting watering schedules to optimise plant health.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks that include weed control, soil preparation, mulching, and pest management to ensure vibrant landscapes.
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or related fields.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining efficiency in outdoor work environments.
