An opportunity to join a Shared Services Centre as an Assistant Management Accountant, playing a key role in supporting financial operations, improving processes, and contributing to management reporting within a collaborative finance team.
Location: NG10 (Hybrid – 2 days working from home, 3 days in the office)
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch); Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm (30 minute lunch)

Overview of role:An opportunity to join a Shared Services Centre as an Assistant Management Accountant, supporting financial operations, improving processes, and contributing to management reporting within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the production of management accounts, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to reporting timetables
- Prepare and fully document assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage treasury-related activities, including processing expense claims and payment requests
- Review existing finance processes and controls, suggest improvements, and support implementation of changes
- Work closely with other Shared Services functions to resolve queries and implement preventative solutions
- Contribute to key finance, Shared Services, and group-wide projects as required
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with operational teams and other finance functions
- Demonstrate a flexible, proactive, and professional approach to all areas of work
- Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with a flexible approach to working hours
- Currently studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or another relevant financial qualification
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Previous experience working in a finance environment
