A well-established and highly regarded accountancy and tax practice is looking to recruit a Private Client Tax Director to join its growing Private Client team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional to step into a senior leadership role, with a clear and supported pathway to Partner for the right individual.
The role involves working closely with Partners to deliver high-quality private client tax advisory services to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices and trusts. You’ll play a key role in leading advisory work, managing client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the private client offering, while positioning yourself for future Partner progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering bespoke private client tax advisory work, including succession planning, inheritance tax planning, residency and domicile advice, and trust planning.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to key clients and managing long-term client relationships.
- Identifying and developing new advisory opportunities and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Reviewing complex tax work and providing technical oversight across the team.
- Supporting Partners on strategic planning and growth of the Private Client practice.
- Mentoring and developing Managers and Assistant Managers, helping to build a strong pipeline of future talent.
About you:
You will be a senior private client tax professional with strong advisory credentials and the ability to operate confidently at Director level. You’ll combine technical excellence with commercial awareness and a collaborative leadership style, and you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to progress to Partner.
You are likely to have:
- CTA qualification (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in private client tax advisory.
- A strong track record of managing high-net-worth and complex private clients.
- Experience supporting business development and practice growth.
- A clear ambition to progress to Partner.
