Salary: Up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

Working Pattern: Office-based initially, moving to hybrid (3 days working from home) following successful completion of probation

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join a close-knit team of three. In this role, you will support the extraction, processing, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Excel and Power Query, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Acquisition
    • Collect and compile data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data cleansing and validation processes
  • Data Processing & Transformation
    • Assist in developing and maintaining data preprocessing pipelines
    • Use Excel, Power Query, and other tools for data integration and data wrangling
  • Data Analysis
    • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
    • Support the development of statistical models to extract insights
    • Respond to programme-related data queries and integrate findings into wider analysis
  • Data Interpretation
    • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their data requirements
  • Reporting & Presentation
    • Prepare and present reports and insights for stakeholders
    • Assist in developing automated reporting solutions using Excel and other tools
  • Data Management
    • Maintain and update databases, ensuring accuracy and data security
    • Support the implementation of data governance best practices
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices
    • Recommend and implement improvements
