Salary: £38,000 – £39,000
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 3 days office based | 2 days working from home
Contract: 6 month FTC with potential to go permanent

About the role
This is a hands-on, operational HR Advisor role within a fast-paced, people-focused organisation. Previous experience supporting redundancy consultation is essential, as you will be joining the business during a period of ongoing change and will play a key role in providing confident, pragmatic HR support. Working closely with the HR Business Partner team, you will be at the heart of the business, advising managers, resolving employee relations matters, and helping embed positive people practices across multiple business areas.
What you will be doing
- Partner with HR Business Partners to deliver proactive, generalist HR support across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and talent initiatives
- Take ownership of sickness absence management, identifying trends, managing long-term cases, and working closely with Occupational Health to support effective outcomes
- Support organisational change activity, including restructures and redundancy consultations, ensuring processes are fair, compliant and well communicated
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching them to confidently handle people issues and build strong employee relationships
- Manage a range of ER cases, escalating complex or high risk matters to the HR Business Partner where appropriate
- Review, update and help implement HR policies and procedures so they remain practical, compliant and aligned to business needs
- Analyse absence data and KPI trends, turning insight into meaningful recommendations for the business
- Stay up to date with employment legislation, providing clear, commercially focused advice to managers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and the wider HR strategy, always looking for smarter ways to deliver high quality HR support
