A London-based accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Associate Director to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is either a current Responsible Individual (RI) or a Senior Manager looking to step into an RI position. The successful candidate will bring a solid background in audit, with added exposure to accounts and tax, and a desire to contribute to a progressive and people-focused audit function.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage a mixed portfolio of audits (SMEs, group accounts, some due diligence)
  • Oversee planning, fieldwork, and completion phases of audit assignments
  • Act as key client contact, ensuring strong relationships and high-quality service
  • Supervise and mentor audit and accounts staff
  • Identify and implement improvements to audit processes and team performance
  • Stay current with audit regulations, standards, and software tools
