A London-based accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Associate Director to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is either a current Responsible Individual (RI) or a Senior Manager looking to step into an RI position.
The successful candidate will bring a solid background in audit, with added exposure to accounts and tax, and a desire to contribute to a progressive and people-focused audit function.
The Role:
- Lead and manage a mixed portfolio of audits (SMEs, group accounts, some due diligence)
- Oversee planning, fieldwork, and completion phases of audit assignments
- Act as key client contact, ensuring strong relationships and high-quality service
- Supervise and mentor audit and accounts staff
- Identify and implement improvements to audit processes and team performance
- Stay current with audit regulations, standards, and software tools
- Collaborate across departments to support wider practice needs, especially in accounts and tax when required
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Current RI or on track to attain RI status
- Experience gained in a mid-sized firm
