The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a premium brand at an exciting stage of its growth journey. The business is investing in its marketing function to build an in-house team capable of driving lead generation, strengthening the brand and supporting ambitious commercial growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work alongside a Content & Creative Executive and also collaborate with external digital agencies and specialist freelancers. Your audience and main customer base will be B2B initially including architects, specifiers, developers and Facilities Managers but over time there is huge growth potential to drive B2C campaigns too. This role is a hands-on lead generation and digital advertising role. Owning paid channels, the role is to manage the website, run email campaigns and work closely with the sales team to make sure marketing activity actually drives pipeline.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)

Role Overview

  • Digital lead generation: Plan, deliver and optimise paid search, paid social and digital marketing campaigns across platforms including Google, Bing and LinkedIn, ensuring activity generates high-quality leads and supports business growth.
  • Website performance: Take ownership of the company website, continuously improving landing pages, on-page SEO, user experience and conversion rates to maximise marketing effectiveness.
  • Email marketing & automation: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns and automated nurture programmes, creating segmented customer journeys that support lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Campaign performance: Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, measuring success through commercial metrics including lead quality, cost per lead, conversion rates and pipeline contribution rather than vanity metrics.
  • Sales collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Specification teams to develop account-based marketing campaigns, utilising market intelligence and customer intent data to engage customers at the right stage of their buying journey.
  • Digital optimisation: Continually improving campaign performance and marketing efficiency.
  • AI & marketing innovation: Leverage AI tools to enhance campaign planning, audience research, reporting, copy creation and overall marketing effectiveness whilst maintaining a distinctive brand presence.
  • Events & brand support: Support major UK exhibitions and industry events throughout the year, typically producing digital campaigns that maximise engagement before, during and after each event.

About You

You will be an ambitious Digital Marketing Executive or Digital Marketing Assistant with hands-on experience delivering measurable digital marketing campaigns. Whether your background is B2B or B2C, you'll understand how digital marketing contributes to commercial growth and be able to demonstrate the impact your campaigns have delivered. You will have experience across paid search, paid social, website optimisation, email marketing and campaign analysis, with a strong appreciation for lead generation, conversion optimisation and marketing performance. Experience within a B2B environment would be advantageous, particularly where you've supported lead generation or account-based marketing campaigns. However, candidates with strong B2C digital marketing experience would also be very welcome. Most importantly, you'll be proactive, commercially curious and eager to learn. This is a close-knit, fast-paced business.
