Distinct are supporting a business, operating within the hospitality sector and recognised nationally to recruit an Interim Financial Controller.
The position will support them through their financial year-end.
- This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to an exciting sector. You will:
- Prepare the annual statutory accounts and support the year-end audit (working with FRS102)
- Work closely with the auditors
- Produce accurate schedules
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function
- Ensure all VAT, payroll, tax and statutory reporting is completed accurately and on time
- Review monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial performance, providing insight to support senior decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with teams across the wider organisation
About you
- ACA Qualified – with a strong technical background
- Ability to get into the detail
- Good working knowledge of FRS 102
- Available to start at short notice
