Learning & Development Coordinator – Sheffield (Hybrid)

Full‑time or part‑time considered, £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience (pro rata for part‑time).

As part of their continued development, they are looking to appoint a Learning & Development Coordinator to ensure their learning activity is delivered with care, consistency and high standards.

The Role

This is a hands‑on role focused on coordinating and managing learning activity across the organisation. You will take ownership of learning systems, ensure programmes are delivered to a high standard, and support the smooth running of all training initiatives. This position would suit someone who combines strong organisational capability with a technical mindset and takes pride in getting things right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate training programmes end‑to‑end, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and compliance tracking.
  • Produce clear and meaningful reporting on learning activity.
  • Upload and manage digital learning content.
  • Support managers in accessing and navigating learning systems.
  • Ensure processes are efficient, compliant and aligned to organisational values.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external providers.

About You

  • Have experience in an L&D, training coordination or learning systems role.
  • Be technically confident using LMS and other management systems.
  • Take ownership and ensure work is completed to a consistently high standard.
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Care about delivering quality and positive learner experience.
  • Be proactive and solutions‑focused.
  • Share a belief in continuous improvement and professional development.

Desirable: Experience improving or implementing an LMS, CIPD qualification (or working towards).
