Job Description

This role would suit an experienced Retail Area Manager or Cluster Manager, you will be managing 12-14 Bakery retail outlets across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or Leicestershire. You will be responsible for motivating, leading, coaching and managing the teams, helping them to achieve targets and exceed customer service standards. The role would suit a passionate, commercial, target-driven person with Multi-Site Retail Management experience, a background in food retail would be great too.

Salary is £35,000. Benefits include Company Car, Mileage, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, staff discount and profit share bonus.

Days & hours of work – 40 hours per week Monday – Sunday. Between 8am – 5pm

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

  • Provide leadership and support to the store management teams
  • Visiting each store at least once a fortnight
  • Recruit and mentor Store Managers, assisting them to build high-performing teams
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives
  • Monitoring store performance
  • Analysing sales data to identify to trends, opportunities and improvement areas
  • Addressing and resolving customer service issues as required
  • Strategic planning, including, quarterly reviews of stores, attending weekly and quarterly management meetings and presenting at these meetings

ABOUT YOU

  • Multi-site Retail management experience is essential
  • Employee relations (ER) experience is essential
  • Food background is highly desirable, including food hygiene and compliance
  • Commercially savvy, target-driven, great people management skills, energy, passion, skilled at motivating others
  • IT savvy, especially with Excel and PowerBI
