Job Description Finance Manager Bonus: Up to 10% On-site, 5 days per week Pension: 6% employer contribution Genuine route to Finance Director Some finance roles are difficult to make sound interesting. You won’t be one person in a finance team of 30. You’ll join as Finance Manager, working alongside the existing Finance Director, who is retiring at the end of Q1 2027, as part of a planned succession. The role is a mix of hands-on finance and commercial partnering, including: Management accounts, budgeting and forecasting Cash flow and financial control Statutory reporting and audit Payroll and wider finance operations Commercial support to the Managing Director Oversight of one experienced Credit Controller There will also be exposure to wider areas such as acquisitions, shareholders and broader commercial decisions. You must be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. The ideal background would be someone who enjoys both sides of finance: Strong on management accounting and financial control Commercial enough to partner an MD Happy working in a smaller business where finance touches almost everything What matters more is having strong foundations, curiosity and the confidence to pick up new areas. There is a genuine route to Finance Director / Executive Director within the next three years, and it could be significantly quicker for the right individual.
