I'm currently supporting a private equity-backed organisation in Northamptonshire that is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join the business on a fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to join a growing business during a period of change, supporting the finance function following a recent acquisition and alongside an ongoing SAP implementation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the credit control function and driving collection performance
  • Managing customer accounts and improving cash flow
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives across Accounts Receivable
  • Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders
  • Helping to address challenges associated with a recent ERP/SAP implementation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Credit Management experience within a medium-to-large organization
  • Strong Accounts Receivable and cash management expertise
  • Experience working with SAP or ERP implementations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to quickly assess issues and implement practical solutions

Location: Northamptonshire

Working Pattern: Predominantly office-based (circa 4 days per week, with some flexibility)

Duration: Initially through to December, with the potential for extension

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience (£55-65,000pa)
