Role overview
You will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to expand market share across independent and group accounts by managing key accounts, reāengaging inactive customers, and identifying crossāsell and upāsell opportunities across dispensing consumables and pharmacy retail products. Alongside your own sales activity, you will support the wider team by coaching new starters, monitoring call activity and performance, contributing to sales strategy, and stepping in for the Senior Business Development Manager when required. This is a fully remote role with quarterly travel to Nottingham for team meetings.
About you
- Strong experience in a business development or account management environment.
- Proven ability to manage and grow customer accounts through upāselling and crossāselling.
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage workload and meet targets in a remote setting.
- Comfortable working to callātime and sales performance metrics.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A positive, collaborative approach and ability to lead by example.
- Experience within pharmacy, healthcare, or consumables sales.
- Previous experience supporting or mentoring sales team members.
