Distinct is supporting a fast-growing, digital-led business in the search for an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to join their FP&A team.
Position: Interim Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Leicester – 2 days on-site
Contract: 6 months
Salary: to £95K
This is a highly commercial role in which you will partner with senior leaders across Technology, Operations, and Support Functions to drive planning, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making. You’ll take ownership of forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling across key cost areas, while playing a central role in headcount planning, operational efficiency, and technology investment analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across support functions
- Partner with Tech leadership on resource planning, ROI, and capital investment
- Oversee accounting for capitalised development costs
- Support operating model and headcount planning
- Deliver insightful analysis and clear month-end commentary
- Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives
- Build strong relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders
About You:
- Strong FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering background
