We're working on a confidential Head of Finance search for a well‑known, listed business based in Leicester – a business with genuine scale, strong brand recognition, and a real track record of developing its people.

Day to day you’ll own the full month‑end close, lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, and produce the management accounts and reporting that senior leadership rely on to make decisions. You’ll also be the commercial partner that bridges the gap between finance and the business – analysing performance, evaluating investment decisions, and ensuring the numbers are telling the right story. It’s a hands‑on role with real variety: one day you’ll be in the detail of a variance analysis, the next you’ll be presenting to senior stakeholders and shaping commercial strategy.
You will develop a small team, have solid autonomy to run things properly, and receive broad exposure that genuinely builds careers. You will be a fully qualified accountant with solid post‑qualification experience in a senior finance or business partnering role, comfortable operating across multiple business units and influencing at a senior level.
