A well‑established and fast‑growing business services group is looking to add a Corporation Tax Manager to its in‑house tax team, based out of Leeds or Bradford. This is a genuinely interesting in‑house role that sits within a busy, collaborative team delivering a high‑quality compliance service to a portfolio of clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance, preparing and reviewing computations and tax accounting provisions for a range of trading and non‑trading entities.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact on service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with finance, legal and treasury teams to obtain necessary information.
- Coach and develop more junior team members.
- Contribute to international quarterly and year‑end tax provision calculations in line with IFRS and US GAAP, providing exposure to reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with at least 3 to 4 years of corporate tax compliance and/or reporting experience.
- Familiarity with UK tax technical areas including CIR, CFC, Hybrids, R&D, Capital Allowances, Group Simplified Arrangements and Consortium Relief is ideal.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment where relationships are central to getting things done.
