Job Description

Job Role: Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Location: North West Leicestershire

Contract: 3 months

Distinct is recruiting on behalf of a global Logistics business to recruit an interim Supply Chain Co-ordinator. This is an immediate start.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing purchase orders and requisitions

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers

  • Overseeing and coordinating supply chain activities, including purchasing, warehousing, and logistics

  • Ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock level audits

  • Analysing data to pinpoint opportunities for improving cost-efficiency, quality, or delivery timelines

  • Quickly and effectively resolving supply, delivery, or inventory-related issues

  • Managing the company car fleet and overseeing vehicle insurance matters

You will bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Previous experience in supply chain or purchasing roles

  • The ability to respond to requests efficiently and effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems
