Job Role: Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Location: North West Leicestershire
Contract: 3 months
Distinct is recruiting on behalf of a global Logistics business to recruit an interim Supply Chain Co-ordinator. This is an immediate start.
Your responsibilities will include:

Creating and managing purchase orders and requisitions

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers

Overseeing and coordinating supply chain activities, including purchasing, warehousing, and logistics

Ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock level audits

Analysing data to pinpoint opportunities for improving cost-efficiency, quality, or delivery timelines

Quickly and effectively resolving supply, delivery, or inventory-related issues

Managing the company car fleet and overseeing vehicle insurance matters
You will bring:

Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail

Previous experience in supply chain or purchasing roles

The ability to respond to requests efficiently and effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems
