While you'll gain exposure to a broad range of marketing activities, social media will be a core focus of the role, accounting for approximately 50% of your responsibilities .
You'll play a key role in developing engaging content, growing the company's online presence and bringing creative ideas to life across multiple platforms.
Please note this is a full-time office-based role in Burton upon Trent.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the company's social media channels, managing activity from concept through to content creation, copywriting, scheduling, publishing and performance monitoring.
- Creating engaging, creative and on-brand content designed to increase audience engagement and grow the company's social media presence.
- Developing content for social media, e Commerce platforms and wider digital marketing campaigns.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan.
- Creating and coordinating marketing materials including brochures, flyers and packaging.
- Supporting the organisation of trade shows, exhibitions, events and internal marketing projects.
- Assisting with marketing administration and supporting budget tracking where required.
About You
We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for marketing and digital content who enjoys turning ideas into engaging campaigns.
You'll ideally have a marketing qualification and/or previous experience working within a marketing team, along with strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Most importantly, you'll be able to demonstrate hands-on experience managing social media platforms from end to end .
This includes generating creative ideas, creating visual and written content, writing compelling copy, scheduling posts and contributing to the ongoing growth and engagement of social media channels.
Creativity, initiative and an understanding of what makes content perform well will be essential to succeeding in this role.
You'll also be self-motivated, highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities within a busy environment.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to build excellent working relationships are equally important.
