I’m working with a large business within Wholesale to recruit a Supply Chain Manager into their head office team near Sutton Coldfield. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing business that has expanded through acquisition and is continuing to develop its group supply chain function. The role will report into the Supply Chain Director and work alongside the existing Supply Chain Manager, taking responsibility for a defined supplier portfolio and helping to keep the day-to-day operation running smoothly.
Key focus areas will include:
- Managing supplier relationships and day-to-day supply chain performance
- Keeping on top of order flow, goods inwards and supplier responsiveness
- Resolving issues quickly and supporting the wider business
- Working closely with buyers, planners and the wider supply chain team
- Helping to manage increased workload as the business continues to grow
The business is open on background, but this would suit someone with strong supply chain experience from a merchanting, distribution, wholesale, finished goods or similar environment.
