We're looking for a commercially minded

Procurement Manager | Category Manager to lead procurement activity, strengthen supplier governance and drive value across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish best practice, influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in managing supplier relationships and third-party risk.

Location

Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days home)

Salary

£55,000 per annum

The Role

  • Leading sourcing and tender activities from end to end.
  • Negotiating supplier contracts and commercial terms.
  • Managing supplier performance, KPIs and contract renewals.
  • Developing procurement policies, processes and governance.
  • Overseeing supplier due diligence and third-party risk management.
  • Working closely with Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and IT to ensure robust supplier oversight.
  • Producing procurement reporting, spend analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

About You

  • Previous experience in Indirect Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience developing procurement processes and supplier governance.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the business.
  • Excellent organisational skills and commercial awareness.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment would be advantageous.
