Office & Finance Manager (Book Keeper)
10-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Nottingham | £35,000-£40,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Finance professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and being at the heart of a business?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing Nottingham business for an Office & Finance Manager to cover maternity leave. This is a standalone role where you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst supporting payroll administration, office management and the wider business.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working within a smaller, friendly business where no 2 days are the same and your contribution genuinely makes a difference.
The Role
The majority of your time will focus on bookkeeping and transactional finance, including:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
- Sales & Purchase Ledger.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Payment runs.
- Cashflow and sales reporting.
- Employee expenses.
- Debt chasing.
- Sage 50 Accounts.
You'll also support with:
- Weekly payroll administration.
- Sales quotations and project administration.
- HR administration.
- General office management.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous bookkeeping experience.
- Sage 50 Accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable experience.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
Desirable:
- Payroll administration.
- HR administration.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, reliable and enjoys taking ownership.
