The Company

We are working with a market leader who are experiencing significant growth. They have a clear path for future company growth and as such are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team at their Manchester head office. You will be joining a team of experienced industry professionals with a chance to progress your career within a growing business with an excellent brand reputation. The Role

The Quantity Surveyor will be working on a variety of fit-out projects, supporting the commercial team across all aspects of the quantity surveying role, including cost management, valuations, procurement, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Assisting in project cost control and reporting
  • Managing subcontractor packages and payments
  • Supporting the project team with commercial advice
  • Attending site visits and client meetings
  • Price projects both budget and detailed cost plans
  • Procure projects with supply chain partners
  • Issue valuations
  • Complete final accounts

What We Are Looking For

The Quantity Surveyor will ideally have experience in a similar role (experience at assistant or intermediate levels will be considered) and be a forward-thinking individual with attention to detail. Ideally, you will be/have:

  • 1–4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role (Assistant or Intermediate level)
  • Experience in fit-out or interior contracting is essential
  • Experience of projects within the retail, workplace or hospitality sectors would be highly beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Degree qualified or working towards a relevant qualification (e.g., Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)
