We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a busy plant/manufacturing environment in Bolton. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant and production machinery across site, ensuring downtime is minimised and equipment performance is maximised. This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical fault-finding skills, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and confidence responding to breakdowns in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and production equipment
- Attend electrical and mechanical breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- Fault finding on motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings/schematics
- Work on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
