Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) + £39,858k salary + Day Shift 8am-4pm Monday – Thursday, 2pm finish on Friday. Our client based in Irlam are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join them on a permanent basis. Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor, you will work as part of a 6 person maintenance team and be responsible for: * Carrying out electrical and mechanical PPM activities in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems. * Ensuring on-site Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintaining accurate records/documentation associated with the PPM and plant maintenance, aiming to achieve and maintain standards of quality compatible with ISO 9002. * Responding promptly and effectively to all electrical and mechanical-related reactive maintenance issues. * Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, sensors, and control systems. * Coordinating visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical and mechanical aspects of the PPM schedules. * Conducting fault diagnosis and repairs on systems including Heating, Ventilation, and Building Services. * Assisting with the installation, modification, or commissioning of new equipment as required. * Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies. * Completing accurate timesheets and reports as required by management. * Adhering to security policies and procedures. * Other duties as requested. Essential critera of the Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) : * Completion of a nationally recognized electrical or mechanical apprenticeship. * 18th Edition wiring regulations (or equivalent). * Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. * Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Desirable for the Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias): * HNC/HND in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical). * PLC fault-finding or programming qualification. * NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
