The Opportunity - Maintenance Engineer
I am recruiting for a couple of Maintenance Engineers to join the site maintenance team at our Trafford Park manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy heavy industrial environment, where your ability to diagnose faults quickly, restore production, and drive reliability will be key. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be expected to confidently support mechanical-based maintenance activities alongside the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer
- Providing responsive breakdown support to keep production running safely and efficiently
- Carrying out electrical fault finding, repair, and diagnostic work on production machinery
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and documenting work completed
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and uptime
- Working safely in line with site Health & Safety standards, risk assessments and permits to work
- Assisting with mechanical maintenance tasks when required (e.g., bearings, belts, guards, alignment)
- Liaising with production teams and external contractors as necessary
