Electrical Design Engineer Trafford Park, Manchester £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE) Monday – Friday (Days) Full-time, Permanent The Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Trafford Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of projects involving control systems, panel design, and industrial automation within a modern manufacturing/engineering environment. Key Responsibilities – Electrical Design Engineer * Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Produce detailed panel layouts and system designs * Use AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify technical drawings * Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are delivered accurately * Support the build, testing, and commissioning of control panels and systems * Work with PLC systems (Siemens & Allen Bradley) including integration with drives and automation equipment * Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and specifications * Support continuous improvement and engineering projects What We’re Looking For – Electrical Design Engineer * Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer * Strong experience with electrical schematics and panel design * Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical (essential) * Experience with Siemens PLCs, Allen Bradley systems, and drives * Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What’s on Offer * £45,000 – £55,000 salary (DOE) * Monday–Friday days role (excellent work/life balance) * Opportunity to work on varied and interesting engineering projects * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Long-term stability and development opportunities Apply now if you’re an Electrical Design Engineer looking for a days-based role in a well-established business in Trafford Park
