Due to continued expansion, my client situated in Bolton is looking for a Multi skilled engineer on a panama shift to add to their growing internal engineering Team.
The Role - Multi skilled engineer
- Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
- Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
- Fully support improvement initiatives and development of the engineering department to enable the business to grow.
- To ensure the achievements of the engineering KPIs and targets are met.
- Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs.
- Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program.
- Mentor and support other team members.
- Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions.
- To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to; Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards.
- To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe.
- To establish an effective working relationship with production and ensure regular communication and feedback.
- To identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams.
- Provide engineering and technical support / training for Line Technicians.
What We Are Looking For
The Multi skilled engineer should be experienced within a similar role and have the following skills/experience:
- Good engineering knowledge gained within a maintenance FMCG or similar environment.
- Self managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance.
- Multi-skilled or electrical ONC / NVQ 3 or higher in maintenance engineering.
- Good communication and IT skills.
- Have good organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues.
