Our client based in Wythenshawe is looking for a HR Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. The HR Administrator will support the HR Manager in the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the organisation. The role will provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate HR records, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. The post holder will work closely with managers and employees to provide a professional, efficient, and confidential HR service.
HR Administrator responsibilities:
- Employee records: Keep employee information accurate and up to date, including personal details, holidays, absences, and performance data.
- Payroll: Support the payroll process by providing accurate information and help with the administration of employee benefits.
- Recruitment and onboarding: Assist with job postings, applications, interviews, and the onboarding process to ensure new starters have a smooth and positive experience.
- HR Administration: Prepare contracts, offer letters, change of terms, references, and any other HR documents. Keep HR databases and files well organised and compliant.
- Employee support: Be a friendly and reliable first point of contact for HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with managers and employees across the organisation.
- Meetings and notes: Attend HR or management meetings where required and take accurate notes or minutes to support clear communication and follow-up actions.
- Training and development: Help co-ordinate training sessions and keep records of employee participation.
- Compliance and reporting: Ensure HR activities comply with GDPR and other regulations and assist in preparing reports such as turnover and attendance metrics.
- HR projects: Support the HR Manager with ongoing people initiatives, process improvements, employee engagement activities, CSR and environmental sustainability programmes, and other HR projects as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in HR administration or a similar administrative role, with some exposure to recruitment and onboarding activities being advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Currently studying a HR qualification (CIPD) or level 3 CIPD would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience using HR systems or databases would be advantageous, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Approachable, professional, and able to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
