Our client, a well-established Building Services Consultancy within the engineering sector based in Harrow, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team.
The role:
- Processing employee’s payrolls weekly/monthly.
- Issuing of P45s and leavers documents.
- Changing holidays, pay and overtime in the system along with SSP, SMP and CSP, Tax code.
- Changes and amendments to personal details.
- Updating files on various excel systems on a monthly basis and as required.
- To assist with various other ad hoc payroll-related duties as requested from time to time.
What we are looking for in a Payroll Administrator:
- Must have previous experience in pay processing procedures from start to finish.
- Knowledge of redundancy calculations would be an advantage but additional training will be provided.
- Proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.
- A good general education.
- Ability to deal with large volume of data/data input.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manners.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel & Word.
