We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Trafford Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of projects involving control systems, panel design, and industrial automation within a modern manufacturing/engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Produce detailed panel layouts and system designs
- Use AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify technical drawings
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are delivered accurately
- Support the build, testing, and commissioning of control panels and systems
- Work with PLC systems (Siemens & Allen Bradley) including integration with drives and automation equipment
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and specifications
- Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Strong experience with electrical schematics and panel design
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical (essential)
- Experience with Siemens PLCs, Allen Bradley systems, and drives
- Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
