We are pleased to be supporting a well-established, market-leading organisation within their industry, known for innovation, exceptional service, and a strong global customer network. With a large stocked product range and a high-performing supply chain operation, they are now looking to appoint an Office Administrator to support their busy warehouse and logistics function. This role sits within the Supply Chain Office, acting as a key link between logistics, warehouse operations, and third-party carriers, supporting both inbound and outbound activity.

The Role – Office Administrator

Working within the Supply Chain Office, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and coordinating all incoming drivers and visitors, including handling relevant paperwork with warehouse teams
  • Booking and uploading shipment requirements with logistics partners
  • Booking delivery slots with customers and following up on deliveries where required
  • Managing goods inwards bookings, including changes and priorities
  • Reporting demurrage and detention on containers and signing off invoices
  • Managing maintenance programmes, including arranging servicing, testing, and repairs
  • Creating and assigning purchase orders for transport, recruitment, servicing, pallets, skips, and consumables
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies and processing warehouse staffing timesheets
  • Managing warehouse training records and supporting onboarding of new starters
  • General office duties such as sorting parcels and ordering uniform
  • Supporting the wider Supply Chain team with additional tasks as required
