A Leicester based service organisation is looking to appoint a Management Accountant into a newly created role following continued growth. The business operates in a structured, contract led environment and offers a flexible, adult working culture with clear long term opportunity. This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of reporting, working closely with stakeholders and developing their remit over time.
The role
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information while supporting planning and performance across part of the business.
- Ownership of monthly financial reporting and analysis.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and forward looking planning.
- Monitoring cash flow and balance sheet position.
- Maintaining accurate accounting for assets and liabilities.
- Working with operational and commercial teams to support performance understanding.
Working pattern and flexibility
- Leicester based role.
- Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
- Flexible working hours, 35 hour working week.
- Early finish on Fridays.
- Trust based, low bureaucracy environment.
The team
You will sit within a central finance function alongside senior finance leadership, management accounting and transactional support. The team is collaborative, well established and known for its supportive approach.
Skills and experience
- Experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
- SAP experience is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working across multiple reporting lines.
- Confident communicating with non finance stakeholders.
Salary and benefits
- Salary of £50,000.
