I am exclusively supporting a leading UK multi site business to appoint an experienced Group Treasury Manager to join its Group Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong treasury and financial control experience to take ownership of the Group's treasury function while partnering closely with senior finance leadership.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in managing liquidity, cash flow, treasury operations, tax compliance and financial controls, providing insightful analysis that supports strategic decision making across the business.

The Opportunity

This is a broad and commercially focused role where you'll be responsible for ensuring robust treasury operations, maintaining strong banking relationships, overseeing tax compliance and driving continuous improvements across finance processes.

You'll also support the development of a junior team member while working closely with the CFO and wider Finance Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Group's daily cash flow, liquidity and working capital position.
  • Produce short and medium-term cash flow forecasts and provide insightful treasury reporting.
  • Monitor banking facilities, debt, covenant compliance and funding requirements.
  • Manage foreign exchange exposure and execute hedging activities where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors and external advisors.
  • Oversee corporate tax processes, VAT returns and HMRC compliance alongside external advisors.
  • Lead treasury and tax month-end activities, ensuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Ensure treasury policies and governance frameworks remain effective and compliant.
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury, reporting and finance processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight to support business performance and strategic decisions.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA or ACT qualification.
  • Significant treasury management experience within a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking facilities and covenant reporting.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange management and hedging activities.
  • Excellent balance sheet control and financial accounting experience.
  • Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experience presenting financial information to senior leadership.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Experience within a group or multi-entity environment would be advantageous.
  • Treasury Management System or ERP experience (such as Microsoft Dynamics) is desirable.
