About the role
Distinct are working with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial group business looking for a Head of Finance to take full ownership of the finance function across multiple entities. The business spans property investment and services, and is scaling. This is a leadership role that's both strategic and operational. You'll be close to the directors, contributing to key decisions and have a direct and visible impact.
What the role involves:
- Full ownership of monthly management accounts across all group entities — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
- Board pack preparation and presentation
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Financial modelling and due diligence for acquisitions
- Leading and developing a finance team
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation
What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 3+ years PQE
- Strong commercial mindset
- Confident presenting to and challenging at board level
