Lead Talent Acquisition Director | Distinct Recruitment
This is a newly created role in a business that’s scaling fast — backed by a global group and driven by a high-energy leadership team with real ambition.
If you’re someone who thrives in high-change, high-impact environments, this is your chance to shape FP&A from the ground up. You’ll partner closely with a dynamic UK CEO, a commercially sharp CFO, and a wider group FP&A team to build the tools, processes, and insights that power smarter decisions.
It’s a broad, technical, and strategic role — ideal for someone who’s as passionate about automation and systems as they are about financial storytelling. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance insight for the UK division, while also playing a key role in designing scalable data architecture and integrating next-gen planning tools (think AI, EPM, automation).
This is a business that’s investing in the future. You’ll be central to that journey — improving systems, moving away from manual processes, and embedding the structure needed for long-term success. There\’s already one junior in the team, and plenty of scope to shape what the function looks like over the next 6–12 months.
We’re looking for someone sharp, ambitious, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You might be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have come through a more data-led or MBA route — either way, you’ll bring strong modelling skills, commercial thinking, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complexity.
Experience of zero-based budgeting, strategic planning cycles, and working across data-heavy or product-led environments will also be a big plus.
You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working at pace — but if you’re up for the challenge, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a name for yourself in a business going places.
