The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to be joining one of Europe’s largest distributors within the automotive retail sector. This Company has gone from strength to strength as they diversify across a range of markets and their brand popularity soars.

You would be joining a well-established marketing team to strengthen their Ecommerce and Digital offering to help increase online revenue in a very broad role covering ecommerce, websites and email marketing.

If you are an experienced digital marketing professional with excellent attention to detail, tenacious and keen to learn, then this could be the ideal next step in your career.

This is a permanent job opportunity located near to Alfreton and easily commutable from North Nottingham and Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • B2B Web Portal - Your key focus will be supporting the B2B portal web activity to ensure a seamless customer ordering journey. This will involve uploading new products – imagery, short/ long description, keywords, SEO etc. You will collate, create and add web descriptions to the product pages and manage online dealer promotions/ marketing assets e.g. web banners.
  • B2B Email Programme - support the regular update of the web banner and email programme. You will gain clarity/ priorities from brand teams in monthly updates and be responsible for brief in banner / email graphic communications, email creation, distribution, reporting and performance measurement.
  • B2C Brand sites & Web Stores – Here you will support the maintenance of the two brand information sites and two web stores which will include updating dealer locators and new products/ remove discontinued products plus general updates to web banners to reflect brand focus.
  • Digital Assets Management – This will involve significant Image Management duties. You will obtain all content ( videos, imagery, technical spec sheets) from supplier portals / contact supplier to obtain content. You will resize imagery from supplier portals to suit Sana & Magento – high and low res etc.
  • 3rd party ecommerce platforms - Support product updates for eBay, Amazon 3P and Amazon 1P.
  • Media Portal – This will involve uploading imagery/ assets onto the Media Portal – ensuring the platform is kept up to date.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have a couple of years digital marketing experience under their belt and an Interest in ecommerce/ websites/ email marketing. Any previous exposure to Word Press/ Magento / Sana CMS, eBay, Amazon 1P/ 3P, ePOS tools such as Lightspeed would be advantageous but there is plenty of training available if needed.
