Distinct are working with an Employee-owned manufacturing business, who are looking for a commercially focused finance lead to partner with operations and drive performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in driving performance and influencing strategic decisions within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. The Role:

  • Partner with senior leaders and operations to improve performance and profitability
  • Translate manufacturing data (scrap, downtime, utilisation, energy) into actionable insight
  • Support pricing, margin and customer profitability decisions
  • Build forecasts and scenario models to guide decision-making
  • Lead and develop a small finance team
  • Maintain oversight of reporting, controls and governance

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in manufacturing or operational environments (desirable)
  • Possess a strong commercial mindset and understanding of operational cost drivers
