I am supporting a well-established professional services organisation to source an ER Specialist to join their specialist HR team supporting education sector clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys employee relations, employment law and client-facing advisory work in a varied and fast-paced environment.

This role will involve providing a solution-focused complex HR advisory service to a portfolio of education clients, supporting with a wide range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and capability, grievances, organisational change, and advice on terms and conditions such as leave and family policies.

You will work closely with Senior HR Consultants and employment law specialists, supporting complex casework, drafting letters and documentation, attending hearings and supporting investigations. The role will also involve supporting policy development and providing telephone and email HR advice to clients on a day-to-day basis.

  • Provide HR advice on complex employee relations matters including conduct, capability, grievance, absence, restructuring and organisational change.
  • Draft letters, reports and HR documentation.
  • Support the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
  • Experience providing HR advice in a generalist HR role.
  • Experience drafting professional letters, reports and HR documentation.

This role would suit someone currently working as a Senior HR Advisor, HR Officer or Senior ER Advisor who is looking to gain exposure to a wide variety of complex HR casework in a client-facing environment with exciting development opportunities into a HR Consultant role.
