This is a Senior Finance Business Partner role with a substantial UK group that is continuing to invest in its finance team. The business has been through a positive period of change, with stronger foundations now in place across finance, reporting and commercial insight. The next stage is about helping the business make better decisions. Not just reporting the numbers. Actually getting underneath them. What is driving performance? Where is margin improving? Where is it under pressure? What needs more challenge? Where should the business focus next? That is where this role comes in.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across a key business area, helping them understand performance, challenge assumptions and turn financial insight into action. This is not a line management role. It is a senior, hands on business partnering role where your influence will matter.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning financial performance across a key area of the business
- Partnering with senior stakeholders around performance, planning and decision making
- Challenging assumptions, trends and results in the right way
- Understanding margin, profitability and key performance drivers
- Supporting commercial projects, investment decisions and performance improvement
- Turning data into clear insight that helps the business take action
- Improving the way reporting and analysis are used across the business
What they’re looking for:
- Strong commercial finance or business partnering experience
- Good understanding of P&L performance, margin and profitability
- Confident working with senior non finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with data
- Experience in a fast paced, complex business would be useful
Package:
- Highly competitive salary
- Company and personal performance based bonus
- Wider company benefits package
