We're looking for an ambitious and experienced qualified accountant with a track record of successfully managing client relationships and developing high-performing teams in accountancy practice.

The opportunity

  • Lead and oversee client relationships, ensuring exceptional service quality and long-term success
  • Coach and mentor a team of finance managers to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reporting
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex client matters and strategic decision-making
  • Maintain key client relationships while empowering teams to manage day-to-day communications
  • Oversee onboarding and transition processes, creating efficient outsourced finance department structures
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and operational processes
  • Monitor portfolio profitability and KPIs, ensuring strong commercial performance
  • Support career development and progression within your team
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling additional services
  • Review complex VAT returns, annual accounts, and management accounts to ensure technical excellence and compliance

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in a client-facing role in an accountancy practice. You will be technically strong, with people management experience, and a positive attitude. This is a remote role, so you will have experience of and be keen to work from home.
