We are recruiting for an organised and detail-driven Inventory & Stock Management Administrator to join a fast-paced operational team based in Derby. This role is ideal for someone with strong stock control experience and advanced Excel skills, who thrives on accuracy, reporting, and keeping inventory data clean, structured and reliable.
The Role
You will take ownership of stock accuracy, inventory reporting and data management across the business. Working closely with warehouse, planning and procurement teams, you will ensure inventory records are maintained to a high standard and support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records across internal systems
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Produce weekly and monthly inventory reports using Excel
- Analyse stock movements, trends and variances
- Support demand planning and replenishment processes
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding stock levels and deliveries
- Assist with stock takes and audit preparation
- Identify process improvements to enhance stock accuracy and efficiency
Essential Requirements
- Strong inventory, stock control or warehouse administration experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis essential)
