I’m currently supporting a well-established UK manufacturing business in recruiting an Interim Management Accountant to join the team on a 9-month contract.
Leicestershire – 3 days on-site
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
This is a hands-on role within a high-performing finance function, suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail, month-end, and a role that could be fluid at times!
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the accuracy and integrity of monthly P&L reporting
- Working closely with operational teams to support performance
- Handling intercompany accounting and Intrastat reporting
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements
- Contributing to ongoing process improvements
Ideal background:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
- Strong accounting knowledge, particularly around reconciliations and controls
- Manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but not essential
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and building relationships with stakeholders
- Proactive, hands-on, and naturally inquisitive approach
