We’re looking for a capable Duty Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of our venue. This hourly paid role suits someone with strong hospitality knowledge who can take ownership of shifts and keep operations smooth.

Location: The Distillery, Birmingham, near Brindley Place & The Arena, on the canal.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service
  • Support and manage the team
  • Manage stock and consumable orders
  • Perform stock taking
  • Handle till work
  • Open and close the venue
  • Train staff and lead by example to maintain high standards
  • Maintain a keen eye for stock control and proactive approach
  • Cover varied shifts across restaurant and bar service, and support events (flexibility required)
